Los Alamos Derby Dames Roller Derby Skate School

The Los Alamos Derby Dames are offering skate school again!

Beginning with orientation Oct. 10 and extending through Dec. 17, sessions will be 4-5:30 p.m. Sundays and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Thursdays. Loaner gear will be available, but the supply is limited so participants are encouraged to purchase their own gear- we’ll help! No prior experience with either skating or sports in general is necessary- that’s what school is for. The fee is 100$ per person for the entire nine-week course, and a 50% discount is offered if you bring a friend!

Want more information? Join us at two locations to learn more about how you can be involved. We are always looking for new folks who want to get on skates and those who don’t. It takes a lot of volunteers to make roller derby games (and leagues) successful. Be part of the action.

From 2-4 p.m. Sept. 17, at the Pig and Fig in White Rock, located at 35 Rover Blv. Los Alamos, NM.
