Darren Delmore, the wine specialist from Tablas Creek joined executive chef Laura Crucet and guests at the Pig + Fig Cafe for a five-course gourmet meal on Thursday, September 28th.

On Tuesday, September 26th, the Pig + Fig Cafe hosted a five course dinner featuring the wines from Hourglass Winery, in St. Helena, CA.  

Laura Crucet, the owner of the Pig + Fig Cafe, called it the “first unofficial wine and chile event”, because Michael Cooperman, the wine specialist from Hourglass, was also visiting the area for Santa Fe’s 2017 Wine and Chile Fiesta.

At 6:00 p.m. on July 23rd, The Pig + Fig Café will present a fundraising dinner with six courses and wine pairings to benefit Self Help, Inc. They will donate the profits of the dinner to the local non-profit.

Each of the six courses will feature farm to table dishes paired with a stunning array of Rhone varietal wines.

The Pig + Fig Café, located in White Rock NM, will be closed on Sundays and Mondays, starting in July. The new hours will be from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. every Tuesday through Saturday.

According to owner Laura Crucet, there are a couple reasons for the change. Most importantly, she wants to provide her staff with consistent working hours week after week and ensure that everyone who works at the Pig + Fig can have a full two days off to rest.

At 4:00 p.m. on July 16th the Pig + Fig Café will host a beer dinner at the Bathtub Brewing Co-Op. The six-course dinner with beer pairings benefited Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS).
