Los Alamos and White Rock now has one more place to relax and have a glass of wine or beer.

The Pig + Fig Cafe now has a beer and wine license and will be re-introducing their tapas menu to enhance their beer and wine selections.

“There are perfect pairings for everything on the menu,” said Pig + Fig’s co-owner, Laura Crucet. “The wine menu is very well thought out. I’ve had years to research this.”

On Sunday, January 28th, The Pig + Fig Cafe hosted a wine dinner to raise money for the Anita Salas Memorial Fund. (Donate here).

The profits from the five course dinner with wine pairings from winemaker Bob Lindquist were donated to the Anita Salas Memorial Fund. This event was part of the 10th Annual K2 Pajarito Women’s Weekend organized by Amy Bauer.

At 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 31st, the Pig + Fig Cafe will welcome Kurt Beitler, owner and winemaker at Bohème Winery.

They will serve a five course dinner with pairings from the wines from the Bohème winery, including the 2014 Boheme English Hill Vineyard Chardonnay and the 2013 Bohème Old Mancini Ranch Zinfandel and three different Pinot Noirs.

On Tuesday, November 21, The Pig + Fig Café hosted a wine dinner featuring the perfect style of wine to serve during the holidays.

Karen Easton was the wine specialist who chose the wine list for The Bounty of Beaujolais wine dinner. She said, “When I was young I drank a lot of Beaujolais wines. It’s the wine of my youth and it is a young and fresh wine.”
